Don't miss this Tuesday morning's NYAPRS Conference keynote presentation by 16th Surgeon General of the United State David Satcher entitled "Mental Health Challenges of the COVID-19 Pandemic". The Conference, entitled, "RISE UP! Community, Connection, Culture," will be held the day and evening of September 29, 2020 and this Thursday day October 1st.

His comments were recently featured in recent article in the Hill entitled "Failure To Address Coronavirus Mental Health Issues Will Prolong Impact" and his Satcher Health Leadership Institute and the CDC Foundation are in the process of establishing a  Health Equity Task Force that will  address the disparate impacts and underreporting of the impact of the virus on racial/ethnic minorities, people living with disabilities, and those of lower socioeconomic status.
