NYAPRS Note: The New York City Justice Peer Initiative (JPI) will be hosting a statewide conference, Building the Justice Peer Community in New York: Pushing Policy & Progress Forward, this Friday (6/30) at St. Francis College in Brooklyn. We are excited to participate in this event which will highlight the need to build the peer community for the justice impacted. There will be discussions about how to best support people with mental health challenges in the criminal justice system as well as needed policy changes.
