Webinar: Creating A Culture of Wellness: A Path To Eliminating Seclusion
and Restraints

Please join us for a FREE webinar. This panel discussion will be with
people who are leading or have led initiatives to reduce and eliminate
seclusion and restraints. Panelists will give a national perspective on
eliminating seclusion and restraints, talk about trauma informed care in
the efforts to eliminate seclusion and restraints, and describe creating
cultural changes in hospitals that lead toward a wellness oriented
environment including the introduction of the Wellness Recovery Action
Plan.

Learning objectives

Participants will be able to:
1. state the Copeland Center's position on eliminating S/R
2. describe the importance of creating a wellness and recovery-oriented
environment and alternatives to the use of S/R
3. list several alternative approaches to seclusion and restraint that
support people to maintain personal wellness and safety
4. describe how WRAP and Mary Ellen Copeland's other work can be
utilized to create this environment and ultimately move away from the
use of S/R
