For the past 30 years, our NYAPRS community has dedicated ourselves to
promoting recovery and wellness, rehabilitation, community
integration.....and self help and peer support. That's why we got
together with the MHA of the Southern Tier and the Mental Health
Empowerment Project to present the September 13th peer conference "New
Perspectives on Peer Services: Principles, Programs and Policy" at the
Hudson Valley Resort in Kerhonkson, NY. You can still register for that
free conference at http://www.yourmha.com/peerservices.htm.

The NYAPRS Annual conference follows the peer conference at the Hudson
Valley Resort, running from September 14-16; it features a strong peer
services track (see below). To make it more affordable for peer
conference attendees to stay for the rest of the week, NYAPRS will
arrange for your Tuesday night stay at the Hudson Valley and Wednesday
morning breakfast on us!

Just contact NYAPRS' Bobbi Fain at bobbif at nyaprs.org and she'll help you
register for the conference

($399 for Wednesday to Friday including lodging in a double room, all
meals, entertainment and all programs),

and get you the free Tuesday night lodging and Wednesday breakfast!
