NYAPRS Note: The following comes from NYAPRS' Mary McLaughlin who writes
that "many NYAPRS friends have expressed interest in submitting workshop
proposals for our September 2011 Annual Conference, so we are extending
the deadline to May 16th."

NYAPRS is pleased to announce our 29th Annual Conference will be
certified as Pre-Approved for CPRP continuing education/pre-exam credit
through our application to USPRA as a Pre-Approved Provider. This has
necessitated some changes in the type and amount of information
collected. Please fill out the attached proposal form completely. If you
have any questions about this, please contact Colleen Sheehan, CPRP, at
colleens at nyaprs.org <mailto:colleens at nyaprs.org> . We will also offer
valuable workshops and activities that do not meet CPRP pre-approval
criteria.
For the CPRP workshop pre-approval, your workshop will have to address
at least one (1) of the seven (7) Domains or Professional Ethics. The
seven domains are: Interpersonal Competencies; Professionals Role
Competencies; Community Resources; Assessment, Planning and Outcomes;
Systems Competencies; Interventions; Diversity; Professional Ethics.
