A record number of veterans are returning from Iraq and Afghanistan with
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and/or Traumatic Brain Injury
(TBI). They face daunting medical and legal issues. A distinguished
panel of professionals, including a practicing judge, a clinical
psychologist expert in PTSD and TBI, and veterans' advocates, will
discuss some of those issues, including the nature and effects of TBI
and PTSD, involvement of veterans in the criminal justice system and
issues veterans face in dealing with the health care system and in
pursing disability benefits.
