NYAPRS Note: The Mental Health Association in NYS has extended
registration for the May 7th MHANYS Spring Reception for several more
days. They have also provided some comments about keynote speaker Eric
Arauz: "This was the most powerful presentation I have heard in a long
time. You could hear a pin drop in the room while he spoke" (--Michigan
Mental Health Council) and "State mental health commissioners repeatedly
commented on how amazed they were by his powerful presentation" (Robert
Glover, Director, National Association of State Mental Hygiene
Directors). Their other keynote speaker is Colonel James McDonough,
Director, New York State Division of Veterans Affairs who is recognized
as one of the most compelling speakers on issues of returning veterans.

>From the North:
Take Northway (I-87) south to I-90 East to I-787 South. Take the US-9
N/CLINTON AVE exit - # 4B.
At second traffic light turn LEFT onto NY-32/N PEARL ST. At third
traffic light turn RIGHT onto State Street, head up the hill and turn
left on Eagle Street.
The main entrance to The State Room is on Eagle St.
>From the South:
Take NYS Thruway (I-87) north to exit 23 to I-787 north.
Merge onto I-787 N via exit number 23 toward DOWNTOWN
ALBANY/RENSSELAER/TROY.
Take the US-9 N/US-20 W exit- exit number 4. Keep RIGHT at the fork in
the ramp Turn LEFT onto BROADWAY. Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto STATE St.
>From the West:
Take I-90 East to Exit 24 of the NYS Thruway. Continue on I-90 to I-787
to exits 4B, 4, and 3.
>From the East:
Take I-90 West to I-787 south. Exits are 4B, 4, and 3. If approaching
from Routes 9 and 20, cross the Dunn Memorial Bridge and use the same
exits.
