conference for peer specialists in the New York City area, organized by
the NYS Office of Mental Health Bureau of Recipient Affairs and the New
York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene's Office of Consumer
Affairs.

Keynote Speaker:  Ed Knight, Ph.D. Vice President of Recovery and
Rehabilitation at ValueOptions Adjunct Professor Boston University

Dr. Knight is an honorary board member of The Mental Health Empowerment
Project, a highly successful peer organization, which he founded in
1989. Dr. Knight is a researcher and also trains nationally on recovery
with peers and staff. In his life Dr. Knight has been homeless and
institutionalized.
